Re: Ms. Harris not validating the vote: I really think this could become a key part of the GOP strategy. If the vote is not validated because things are so screwed up in Florida, then, conceivably, the race could get thrown into the U.S. House of Representatives, because neither candidate would have achieved 270 votes. With the GOP controlling the congressional delegation of 26 of the 50 states, Bush would be assured of a win in the House of Representatives. Not dissimilar to when the House selected Jefferson over Burr, if I remember my history correctly.
