Thanks Frank, that's exactly what I was saying. It's not the job of the courts to decide on the political merits of the case before them. It's their job to apply the law.

The law is clearly written, and I've heard many legal scholars describe how the secretary is correct in her judgement of that law. On top of that, one Florida District Judge has gone on the record and backed up her decision.

If the Florida Supreme court changes the law after the election and applies a different meaning and intent toward it. They will have done it purely for political reasons. Therefore, they will have taken power from the legislative branch of government which wrote the law to begin with. This is a clear violation of separation of powers and an infringement on the principles of justice.
