Hi David. What part of the trip cost so much? I fly from Fargo and the airfare is about $950 (the reason it is that high is I have to go through Minneapolis, Miami, and San Jose to get to Liberia). I get rooms for about $50 per night. The meals are no more than meals are here. I think it is a very cheap place to vacation. Golf is a blast. Stay out of the water hazards (there are alligators in most of them). Monkey's holler at you from the trees. Iguana's and Road Runners are all over the place. Throw in a few ring tailed cats and it is never boring! If you need any info, let me know. I am going back down in December. Ritch
