I know what you mean Jim. I don't know how the MM's can get away with the spreads they have on some stocks. Too bad we can't do it, "Here, buy this stock for .40 that I just paid .25 for and I will buy it back for .25 if you want to sell it". Reminds me of trading sports cards. Most of the time I have stayed away from stocks with a big spread unless I can sneak in on the bid. Whenever I do get in on the bid though the MM's always seem to have a habit of moving the bid down so after some time I bail out even money rather than risking a loss. Take a look at ATCC, big percentage gains shown every other day. Bid never moves above .32 but the Ask can be from between .40 to .50. I have never bought any because I figure I can only get .32 for whatever shares I have. I like stocks with a tight bid and ask that when they move your profits move also. Have any of those stocks to throw out there. LOL. :^)

"The market climbs a wall of worry..."

But it does not climb a wall of indecision...

Also, what's with these CEOs of NASDAQ companies having to sell stock to cover margin calls? Things are getting tough all over.
