Sun Tzu, Re: In other words, as it stands Bush's only claim is that he got lucky and the random error rolled in his favor. And Gore's aim is to toss up the coin again and hope that he'll get lucky on the recount.

Nicely put and your suggestion for splitting the electoral sounds the most fair and logical solution unfortunately, it is not how the current statue is, may be next time.

PS. I am more incline to Zhuong(?) Tzu or Lao Tzu

AMAT and the electoral process: For a short time on Friday when this chess match seemed to have been won by Bush the market and tech stocks rallied strongly.

This could be an indication of what will happen when on the day when the winner is decided and a concession speech is given.

So the message is somehow be prepared to sell on the news. Unless you are so far underwater that it would take six elections to dig you out.

Sun: all your ideas are good ones, but we are past the point common sense and rational solutions. The last I heard was that Nadar was demanding a recount so that he would know who he lost to. ( for political satire try...www.theonion.com )
