jungleinvestor, Yet the same local Democratic Party officials have thrown out hundreds of absentee ballots on technicalities. These ballots are clearly marked Bush and come from military bases where for e.g., the post office forgot to postmark the ballots.

Is not the intent of these soldiers to vote for Bush very clear, moreso than a dimpled ballot? And since you are holding the actual ballots in your hand, did they not arrive before midnight Friday night by definition? Solche Verwegenheit! (Such audacity!).

IMO this is a significant effort by to suppress the miitary vote for Mssr. Bush by the local Demo-Party hacks in these same counties which are simultaneously counting dimpled ballots for Mssr Gore.....

Possibly a little canoodlin', or "home cookin" goin' on tonight....Perhaps the proper name for any Gore Administration will be the "Gore-Lieberman Junta "....

OT/<Why isn't there a public outcry?> Because most Americans

still don't yet realize the domestic press and media can no longer be trusted to give them balanced or objective news reports.

This is NOT the same news media that reported to us 20 or 30 years ago. Sure there's has always been some liberal bias in the major NY based TV networks. But the public doesn't realize that since Reagan was elected, the drift to the left has been steady and consistent. Under Clinton, especially in the way the impeachment was covered and reported, it really began flashing alarm bells for this viewer.

And the way they've covered this Florida situation is more of the same.

It's hard for there to be a public outcry J.I. when the chief source of information from which the public forms their opinions is subtly but consistently writing and editing news content to favor of the Gore agenda. What we have, in essence, is "soft sell propaganda".

No matter what the Gore forces do, the networks report it without serious question or analysis; Even when numerous, well evidenced, instances of brazen fraud surfaced in Palm Beach, like voting machines illegally floating around and numerous reports of ballot alteration and padding of the Gore total by Carol Davis. There's no serious investigative reporting or editorial whistle blowing by the TV networks.

Instead these stunning events are given relatively modest emphasis. Center stage are endless repetition of the seasaw court rulings and spin news conferences. So viewers tend to remain passive about the real story of how hand recount fraud is stealing this election in broad daylight in front of numerous complaining witnesses.

And even if there were an outcry across the nation?. Would THESE networks give it heavy coverage?

No. Because it's not "the will of the people" the networks are interested in. Only the will of liberal democrat people.
