What a foolish post. Gore cannot arbitrarily decide to re-vote the entire state of Florida by hand. His offer was only made as a publicity stunt. If he was truly interested in hand-counting the entire state, he would have petitioned for it immediately. What he did instead was selectively petition those counties he knew were run by Democratic operatives in order to manufacture votes. The Palm Beach canvassing committee has already broken the law by not having a Republican on it. It's a clear violation of their statutes. If Bush was half as inclined to drag people into court as the Gore team is, they could win on that point alone.
