Lots of interesting political discussion overnight. Thanks for keeping it civil. The way this battle has progressed, my feeling now is . . . .

The first candidate to concede [prior to the conclusion of all recounting] is the one most deserving of the presidency.

And the reds and the blues need to work on getting along and moving forward from here. Perhaps some should merge. . . their counties could be purple. >g<

And what about the 50/50 deadlocked congress? Regardless of which candidate wins. . . it means that making law in these United States, will be nearly impossible unless votes are swung one way or another. But then, that is not necessarily a bad thing. It might require our congressional representatives in the house and senate to actually READ THE BILL before voting.

We will get through this. And I hope that the partisan divided debates and legal battles leave few scars on our unity as a nation.
