I don't think that McCain has the patience of others when it comes to those that disagree with him. He is no great friend of Lott or many of the other far right minions of the GOP. However, I find this as more proof that he is a man of honor, integrity and character and just the man the GOP needs to move it into the new century. The people that McCain dislikes I also, coincidentally, dislike. McCain is a new kind of Republican. He may never be President, but he will inspire some young mind out there to fight for the prize. Just as I suspect that Nader has. This makes me more optimistic for our future.
