We've had some similar experiences.

I don't remember the Chief being around in those early Bid.com days. I sure did learn to value his opinions and leads on the daytraders thread. Like a lot of us, he made me some money.

I was already doing this full time by the time ILII turned into BII. BII and WIN have been my most successful plays.

Like you, I'm holding some stocks that have tied up my money for a few years. Sharpe (SHO on the ME), Footmaxx (recently became YFT on the CDNX) are my two worst (still living) investments. A few others died on the vine.

About TA. When I look back at the obvious sell signals (using Stochastic) given by the Nasdaq in late February, I am reminded of the need for discipline. Wish I had more.

Murphy's book is my favourite. I haven't read the section on P&F.

I hope you'll post some of your charts with some explanations for the rest of us. I'm ready to learn.
