TG--Every single Elector should carry with them ALL the time a tape recorder....or two...better yet...one hidden, and one in the open. Ready for every conversation that might come their way. Wouldn't THAT be interesting??!!

It might be interesting, but if the tape recorder is concealed in many states that is a felony.

Keep in mind(and to the Bush loyalists, I am admitting something here, OK?) that the level of sophistication and expertise of operatives and hacks of today is far greater than the old strong arm techniques of Tweed, Daley, LBJ, CREEP(Nixon's people).

It is highly unlikely that any type of blatant bribe or overt threats would be used. These operatives would more than likely use gentle persuasion to woo those electors, appealing to sense of fairness, Gore's overall lead in the popular vote, etc.
