Nixon was stupid and did wrong and resigned. His crimes were against the public and not really against individuals.

Mr. Clinton committed crimes against individuals and used his position to destroy publicly individuals

America is about the rights of individuals and to me Clinton's crimes were far worst.

Nixon was over the line dirty politics with a motive to do good for the country. What Nixon did was totally.

Bill did it because he was afraid of Hillary... ????

>>>The activities Reagan's administration were involved in did not involve their own selfish interest.<<<
OK, let's go back a few more years.

I'll take that as an honorable consession.

Do you remember Magruder and Watergate? The only one of the bunch that had any decency that I remember was Dean. Whose personal interest interest working for?
Why do you think they had to get rid of Agnew before going after Nixon?

My recollection of the whole Watergate affair is not that good but my overall impression is that this was a less than honorable bunch. Not clear on who all the crooks were and to what degree but there were a lot of them.

I know I am in a minority here but I think the Clinton affair was minor compared to what went on in the past 20 years the republicans controlled the white house.

I think a friendly press has buffered public opinion on the abuses by the Clinton abuses. Misuse of the IRS to target opponents, a Justice Department unwilling to fully investigate the influences of Chinese Army money flowing into the White House. An unwillingness to investigate the pilfering of nuclear secrets by Chinese. A President with a patern of sexually abusing his staff.

Do you realize what you have to be willing to sweep under the rug in order to keep Clinton in office? I think this is indicative of the selfindulgent Baby Boom generation of which he is a part. The sad part is younger folks like you are buying into it.

This rationalization and justification is furthering the moral decline of this country.
