Tom i'm not bitter or angry.
Nor am I whistful for "what might have been":

<<If it were not for a new untested ballot design in Palm Beach County, Gore would have won Florida and the presidency by about 19,000 votes on November 7. >>

Not sure where you grabbed that number from. It is stricty theoretical. I do know that the Dems began calling voters in PB the afternoon of election day to try to convince them they had made mistakes in voting! But I suppose the Dems and Repubs should not have agreed on that ballot design before it was used, eh?

<<The outcome of Florida will hinge on whether or not the courts will allow a revote or an adjustment in Palm Beach County for this problem. >>

A "revote" ? Either the whole nation revotes, or nobody does. Even if there were a revote, you'd see Nader in court to stop faster than you could blink, because obviously noby woul dvote for him in the revote. And he's probably win his case.

Secondly you should not see a Gore loss as a "problem". You should try to be more open-minded to the way democracy is supposed to work in this nation.
