Vol - My previous question to you was uncharacteristically not a moan about whether there is going to be a rally. I happen now to think that there is virtually zero likelyhood of the market recovering or rallying until Mr Greenspan has seen millions of Americans slung out of their jobs and on the dole lines.

No my question was whether a house can trade in a stock before it issues a downgrade but using the knowledge that it is going to issue a downgrade? Is that allowed?

V-man - this whole mess will wrap this week when the court realizes it will have to let K. Harris certify the election based on the pre-existing rules. All the crap flying past midnight will in the long run just be noise. Bush wins, period.
