The sailors remembered no talk or effort on their ship to get anyone to vote. They hadn't even thought of voting. And they knew no friends who had voted. So much for the big GOP support from the military overseas. Sure there are some and many soldiers are conservatives, but the six million bucks the GOP spent trying to get them voting may have been a waste. Unless of course these Florida absentees swing the entire election. Depending on these re-counts this election could be very-very close again soon. Or not. Who knows? Re-counts don't necessarily favor Gore despite all the GOP complaining and obstructing.
