IMO, the Bears are out of ammo.

They punished us with a big move down yesterday. LOL

Look at all the down volume.
Wow, all this down volume with little price change has the smell of a rally.
Might want to cover.

That is a great photo, Slider, and there is much in your post that I agree with. I was finding fault with you for your habit of trying to belittle others. I was just using the facts to point out the inappropriateness of your often high-handed manner.

I agree with you about money. Having independence and control is of primary importance. How big the pile of $$$ is makes little difference past the point where one has relative financial security.

My point was and is that your repeated attempts to belittle others is the sneering of a person who feels inferior and tries to cut down others to bolster himself.

---You want to call me "little Di"??
Like you've tried to belittle dozens of other posters here?
On what grounds do you talk down to me?
I figure you work evenings in the loan department of an appliance retailer and you never made six figures in your life.
You want to play at being a 'Big Man' who talks down to the little 'ankle biters' who disagree with him?
OK. Put up your money, Big Man.
I think we could work out a way to have a mutually agreed-on person examine documents from us both.

But before we bet, in fairness I should point out that your description of my situation is not accurate.
I don't have 6 "room mates". I share ownership of a house in NYC with 5 (not 6) others. I don't share a room. It's a pretty big house.

I work free-lance. Not salaried.

I'll bet on my 1999 income being more than three times yours (3x more). Whether or not to include cap gains I'll leave up to you.

Making more money or being taller or anything else doesn't make anyone better than anyone else. I'm not saying I'm better than you. I'm saying your condescending attitude is uncalled for. Not just toward me. Toward anyone.

regards,
diana

PS-- You can name the amount on that bet.
----- But US$s only.
----- No gold. No appliances.
