If I had to pick one single why I'm for Gore it's the environment. I turned against Bush the day he picked Cheney as his running mate. A 100% oil industry team and Cheney's eco voting record gets an "F" from the League of Conservation Voters. There are very few F's but he merited one. And since I expect Cheney will be running things if Bush gets in more than any other VEEP in history (because Bush isn't qualified) I see the pigs being allowed to feast at the trough of our scant remaining natural resources. I was especially appalled when Cheney suggested drilling offshore of Florida and North Carolina. I'm a big scuba diver and I know what that means. Think alternative clean-burning fuels for the future. If Bush gets in there will be almost zero progress toward that end. The big polluters are all behind Bush-Cheney. They were the ones who funded Bush originally.
