Bush has two things going for him right now.

1. He won the first count and the second count.

2. The Florida Supreme Court will have to rule that Katherine Harris violated Florida law by enforcing the Nov 14 deadline. The problem, of course, is the fact she DID NOT violate any Florida statutes. This is where it gets sticky. In order to have a third recount the judges will have to overrule the Secretary of State even though she performed her duties exactly to the letter of the law. A very tough decision. I think the Florida Supreme Court will have to uphold her decisions even though they may vehemently disagree with her. If there is a problem here it is not with Katherine Harris, it is with the way the election laws are written. The laws give her a lot of power which the democrats wish she didn't have.
