Question about orcl options?

I bought 1000 orcl at 26 last week. When the stock reached 28 on wednesday, I wrote covered calls Nov 27 1/2. The stock closed at 28 11/16 when the market closed on friday (options expire). Normally, I would lose the stock at 27 1/2. As soon as the market closed the vp news came out and the stock tanked to 24 3/4 after hours. Does this price affect my covered calls. I thought if the stock closes above my strike price in the regular market I would lose the shares. My account still shows the shares. Question: which price applies to option expiry, the regular market close or after hours. And should I still have the shares in my account or should these have been recalled.

TIA
