In a mystery novel the plot centers around finding the truth. Maybe there is a plot here.

I know people who were ready to shoot their guns if Gore won. He could have won by an overwhelming majority and it wouldn't have mattered. The idea was so abhorrent to them that they were ready to shoot if he won.

I say let them shoot and show themselves for what they truly are.
