...when someone i have 'peoplemarked' changes their alias and all of a sudden i have no idea who this new person is... I needed to get a birth certificate. Usually, this is a simple request to the Registry Office, a small fee, and a two week wait. But not for me. Apparently, when I was born, my parents couldn't make up their mind what to call me, and since registering the birth, changed their minds. Now I've spent over half a century using the wrong name. Everything with my name on it needs changing -- And I don't like my real name. My lawyer suggested I change my name to what I've been using all along. This process costs $200, and involves a little more paperwork. I need to do this before retirement, so I can claim my pension, and before I die to simplify probate. So, I had no idea who I was. Cheers, PW. P.S I'm tempted to change my name to Witch. P.P.S. On another matter, we had a few flakes of snow overnight. The Commander returned home and announced that it was "Cold as Hell" outside. Now, since Hell has a reputation for extremely warm weather, wouldn't one think that describing a winter morning as "Cold as Hell" makes about as much sense as claiming a summer afternoon as being as "Hot as the Arctic?"
