Ellen~ Go back and re-read my post...Seminole County recount was mandatory...THERE WAS A MACHINE MALFUNCTION. When they counted the ballots that were rejected...THEY ADDED BALLOTS TO THE TOTALS OF BOTH PARTIES. Texas no longer uses punch ballots...THE STATE OF TEXAS HAS "STATEWIDE" STANDARDS...FLORIDA'S STANDARDS ARE UP TO THE "DISCRETION" OF THE INDIVIDUAL COUNTIES...AND THEY HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THEY CAN CHANGE MID-COUNT. AND...aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself on what the Florida legislature will or will not do...
