In the FWIW dept, I have a buy signal on the VIX which means the bias for the market is down. Of course as many have pointed out, the charts are so confusing depending on what sector you are looking at, half could be up and the other half could be down. <gggg>

I have a looong list of old fogey type Brick and mortar stocks on my short list for next week but also have just as many stocks on my long list. Rotation rotation rotation. Just follow the bouncing ball.

Bush picked up a few hundred more votes of lead via the absentee ballots that apparently Gore's thugs were unable to intercept ( see various news links regarding military not getting their ballots and finding out that some Gore supporters voted for them.) I guess that means we will need to have a few more recounts since they can only create a small percentage each time going Gore's way. Maybe a split of the country is the answer. Let Gore be president of the dumb part of the country and let Bush run the half that can tie their shoes, know where arrows point to and are not on welfare. <gggg>

Good Luck,

Lee
