I have read on one of the news sites, I think CNN.com, that Tom Delay and others have requested that staffers prepare briefings on the entire process.

But the difference between this and Congress is that the Constitution provides what constitutes a quorum (a simple majority of the members of each House is a quorum), while no provision is made for a quorum of Electors.
