mishwdlo... "Gore offered to recount the entire state, Bush turned him down. Now you are complaining about equal protection."

mishedlo, are you not reading the posts regarding this mater? Are you so blinded by the Democratic BS, or do you just enjoy wearing the BLINDERS?

Gore CANNOT (CANNOT) make such an offer. He has no authority to make such an offer. The state laws do not permit such a statewide recount to be offered by anybody, including the FL supreme court. This law was passed by the FL legislature and would have to be changed by them through due process. I know you are an intelligent person. I guess this is why you have me confused by your thinking in this matter.

Mishedlo,

They are not recounting wards, they are recounting counties, at least I would hope.

I understand the Democrats rationale for asking for a hand recount in Palm Beach county (the Butterfly Ballot issue). What was the Democratic rationale for picking other selected counties (which lean heavily towards the Democratic side) to recount? Why didn't they propose recounting the entire state right from the start?

The question just occurred to me when reading your message.

Thanks,

Dave
