It's easy to gloat on short term momentum movements. I've owned Broadcom since Feb. '99 and my basis is about $29/share. I am looking at the long term. While I agree the PE is high and that the share price got ahead of itself, this company has done a great job of keeping itself in the right growth position in the chip sector - much better than Intel or Moterola, for example. I think the management has been conservative in its approach, by not declaring a split, for example. For a LTB&H, Broadcom still has a lot more growing to do over the next few years. Let the juvenile momos gloat, I'm sure Broadcom will conrtinue to reward its long term investors over the next few years. The LTB&H investors will have have the last laugh.

<<If TVIA is such a terrific company, why did they only do $7 million in sales for the last year >>

....uhhhh,,, where did I say TVIA was a terrific company???
I never said that.

Don't try to put words in my mouth Mr. Denial!!

IT IS Pretty scary if "Blundercom" is losing deals to such a small fry though,,, isn't it?? NO????? The arrogance from companies like this always comes back to bite them in the A$$, this is not a new pattern in the tech world.

<<You won't be around for me to say, "I told you so" -- you'll be gone to another thread spreading your garbage. >>

I'll be around, cuz I'm smart enough to know when a stock goes from 50 to 250 that it's time to take some profits and when the MO MO leaves it's time to get short for a spell while the PIGS like you get spanked like a red headed step child. You just know there is a TON of overhead supply now so every spike rally will have sellers ready and waiting, hope you realize this.

Heck, after another week or two like the last one I might be ready to nibble on the long side for a bounce. I don't think this is a POS company, just got overpriced, has some growing pains, got a little over confident, and now getting chopped down to reality.
