Misheldo,

You are eager to apply the law when it results in votes for Bush being thrown out but you ignore the law when it comes to the Florida election process not allowing manual recounts to be certified beyond the 7th day.

Are you for law and order or are you against it?

The state law mandates a postmark on election day or before. Since they just now arrived, they must be thrown out.

This is clear. Now watch the Bush "states rights" folks but into another battle.


The military post office has probably improved somewhat since I was a kid, but I used to get letters from my father from overseas (he was posted on carriers) that had postmarks that were 2 to 3 weeks old. You couldn't have a "conversation" because the turnaround time was a month to a month and a half. Letters were "here's what's happening to me" notes.
