I filled in about 15 more blanks since my last post;

Found some more historical detail on Homestake (Eskay Creek), but now they are reporting on a gold equivalent basis and not breaking out silver.

Used SEDAR to dig up what I needed on Breakwater and Placer Dome. Also filled in a few blanks for Pan American, Sunshine, and Billiton plc.

I going to the USGS site next to see if they mention any companies I missed.

P.S. Moved discussion to "Silver Prices" since it was really off topic for FGX.V

Hecla appear to be trying to get their act together: biz.yahoo.com

"The company anticipates the sale of K-T Clay will enhance its potential for future precious metals acquisitions or expansions, as well as eliminating most of the company's bank debt. "

Now do you think they could go after Corner Bay or Minefinders (or both) ?

I mentioned Minefinders because they just updated their Dolores project: "The open-pit minable portion of the Dolores Main Zone deposit has substantially increased to 67.2 million tonnes containing 2.07 million ounces of gold and 115.8 million ounces of silver. This corresponds to a 43% increase in tonnage, an 80% increase in recovered gold and a 76% increase in recovered silver. A mine life of 13 years results in production of 138,359 ounces of gold and 6.27 million ounces of silver or approximately 242,900 ounces of gold-equivalent metal annually for the life of the open-pit mine.
