I just wonder if the CEO's of companies ever check these message boards. FredE, What do you think Henry N. or Henry S. would think of your comments?

Given both are PhD/geniuses, I can only imagine what they might think.

When a company is weak for some underlying reason, then shorting makes a hell of a lot of sense. Personally, I am quite long BRCM, but have had the good fortune of being short-against-the-box to cover a naked put I had sold a few of weeks ago.

Time for such caution may be nearing an end. Just looking at the chart at least gives me the sense of BRCM being totally oversold.

A short squeeze could very well happen once the election situation is resolved and fund managers are given the green light to spend some of the $1.53 trillon in cash sitting on the sidelines right now.

Being short has been a good call for the short-term, so congrats to those that have been making some money.
