<<I think the hype over the release of Pentium 4 might give a push to Rambus Monday. I would expect to see an initial bounce possibly followed by profit taking a little later in the day.
Of course the election mess might be a bit of a problem and make things a little more difficult.
I will try to buy a bit after some of the initial P4 hype has died down or if I get an opportunity due to the political uncertainty.>>

Thanks T2....this election keeps coming up with more and more twists. Yesterday, when the repubs were going over some of the things they felt were going on that made the handcount unreliable...one of the dems came forward in response asn said something to the effect of "Icant believe the repubs are upset that they found bush votes in gores stack...I witnessed several times, gore's votes being placed into bush's stack and bla bla bla"....well sheez, If I were a judge that would be all I needed to know. Bush is not crying that he doesnt want a count or recount. We have had those......but the main point is he wants a fair count and I think at this point we can assume what is happening is not fair...regardless of who's favor. I really about choked on my sandwhich when I heard that demo respond...he basically admitted that bush shouldnt be upset because the whole process is so messed up that both candidates could be gaining or losing based on the screw ups with human error.

I just hope the judges can see how out of hand things have gotten and how unfair any recount will be...it will not be accurate. Lastly, and this is what I find most disturbing and it is such a simple concept. Recount the votes...hell yea, but if a vote isnt 110% clear, it should be a no vote. No if's and's or but's about it. There should be no reason to be "examining" the ballots.Count them yes, but if there is even a shadow of doubt concerning a voters intent, it should be a no vote. It boggles my mind the the SC could allow somebody to determine anothers intent in a vote, if the intent was not 110% clear...that just boggles my mind. And now, since gore aint getting what he thought he would, he now wants to include 1900 votes in one county that have slight dimples.....simply amazing....he wants to count dimples, the most unclear case of them all, yet at the same time he wants to deny the military because of an obvious mistake such as a psot mark....the voters intent is 110% clear, but the demos wont count it because of a post mark, yet they want to count votes for them that are not 110% clear.....simply amazing. can the judges be so naive not to see this???

Yes,

RMBS will finally begin to get the credit it deserves. Yep, the company people love to hate. Remember QCOM, same situation but better.

Remember when the opposing engineers said CDMA was a fantasy.

Same with RMBS - people are about to find out about RDRAM and it's potential. If RDRAM is a joke, why is INTC about to have it's biggest chip launch in history and INTC only makes up 10% of RMBS's revenue. They have headfaked their competition into not forging ahead with RDRAM and now the competition stands there watching the parade go by lead by Dell, CPQ, GTW and HP, not to mention the alliances they have with the other producers like Samsung. Why would Samsung commit 30 billion to ramping up for RDRAM if it was not going to make them a lot more than that. Amazed how many are frightened by FUD and fail to see through it. Well, FUDSTERS about to eat crow. But I would like to thank them for allowing me to dollar cost.
