Interesting.

When we are counting our blessings over the turkey and dressing this Thursday, coverage by 24 hour news stations being broadcasted worldwide has to be one of them. Once the reporters smell blood, they don't care whether it's Democrat or Republican.

This has gone so far, so over the edge, that this is probably the straw that will Break The Camel's Back.

yup, it's already over. The lawyers can fight all they want but public opinion will rule. No chance in hell the Dems can make a good enough case to appeal to the American people. Also, no chance in hell the Dems will let Gore fight this out. At some point, the powers that be in that party will call it a day and wait for 2004 (much sooner than later IMO).

You could be right. If this came from the top, the damage would be impossible to undo. Both sides sent out instructions, but if the Dems were misinterpreting the law this must be corrected. 15 yards and loss of down?<g>
