Bush won the election. Then he won the recount. Then Gore filed a lawsuit This is not correct. Bush was ahead in an election too close to call, an automatic electronic recount was mandated by the state, and then Gore requested a manual recount as proscribed under the laws of Florida. It's illustriative that you stated the events of only ten days ago wrong. It shows you have already lost any touch with objectivity. This is very much like the impeachment episode from which I gather the conservatives still haven't figured out why the only losers in that battle were the American people and the Speakers of the House. deep personal reason for supporting what Gore is trying to do, DUH! It means people vote, the votes are counted, the votes matter. Do you realize the alternative to that? I am constantly amazed that the Republicans are willing to push this usurpation to the wall and assume that the rest of america is going to give up on the idea that votes matter. TP
