I feel rules are there to be followed. I prefer the rulebook be followed and that way everyone knows how things will be judged. The thing I hate about Gore is he is not law abiding. He constantly cheats on the rules. So they mean nothing.

Doesn't it bother you...

What bothers several of us MORE is the fact that Palm Beach uses arbitrary election rules.

They make up the rules as they go along, granting manual recounts for elections where their county has already decided for Gore, but denying them to Black Female Republican candidates.

What will the rules be next year? And the next? And the next?

That is what is really at the heart of this...

And Harris has followed the Florida statute. She gave them a week to provide her the extenuating circumstances that necessitated a recount and it clearly fails to meet their own previous standard they set just several months ago.

Anyone can win an election if people are permitted to use subjective analysis of ballots in counties where they already dominate the politics.

Ron
