Lewinky Dan - Re: "Servers, corporate desktops, and high end notebooks - all nearly 100% Intel right now. New markets for AMD to expand into."

Doesn't AMD need products, instead of AMDroid wet dreams, to make an effort to compete in these areas?

Lewinsky-Dan - re: 'Servers, corporate desktops, and high end notebooks - all nearly 100% Intel right now. New markets for AMD to expand into."

But Monica BlowHard - you told us Intel investors that AMD was going to have OEM SERVERS using AMD SMP CHIPS available in AGust 2000.

That's what you predicted, right - blow hard?

Well - August was 4 months ago and do you know what AMD actually announced?

That's right, Danny-Boy !!

AMD announced A FURTHER SIX MONTH DELAY in SMP !!!

So - you don't really believe AMD will make any in-roads on Intel - you're just a desparate sucker hoping that AMD's stock won't tank further !!!

Right Monica?

Paul

Dan - Re: "It's great when there are huge, obvious, very lucrative new markets for your products, isn't it? "

It sure is.

And it sure SUCKS when you have no products to offer those markets -- right Dan ?

What does AMD have to offer the server market?

What does AMD have to offer the mobile market?

I know, Dan - AMd has "Promises, Promises" !!

Unfortunately, customers can't stick Promises into their sockets - instead, they put Intel Processors in to those sockets.
