I agree that it would be better to do the manual recounts statewide.

Whether they count pregnant chads, etc. is less important to me than that they adopt uniform standards. It's too bad that Florida does not already have a unified standard. Maybe they will after this is all over.

It's also too bad that the Florida legislature has written statutes that seem to conflict with each other, and has combined a right to request manual recounts with a deadline that makes them nearly impossible in the larger counties.

As for what the courts will do, I have learned not to make predictions!
