That just doesn't make any sense. A cheap tire guage costs about 3 bucks, and a brillo pad is less than a buck. For that price you could just visit a hardware store and build something non-toxic.

A tire guage usually has a plastic sleeve for the measuring stick. Even though the outside is metal, the inside is plastic. Who the hell would want to inhale plastic? I thought smoking cigarettes was pretty suicidal, but inhaling polyethelene is a sure path to a quick grave.

And brillo? Doesn't that stuff have soap impregnated on it?
