Just responding to the "commie pinko get out the militia" right-wing radicals with the flip-side of the argument. I'm sick of hearing the exaggerations on the right so I posted what the left-wing exaggerations are. Commie vs. fascist. Racist bigot vs. Jew-N-lover. It's the ugly side of the American conscious (on both sides) and this tense race is bringing it out. I'm a moderate-liberal strong on environmental protection and conservative on discal policy. But I know the arguments and prejuices at both extremes of the political spectrum. In small ways they are both parts of me. It's like having a devil on your left shoulder and another on your right starting to scream at each other. Both extremist views are hateful and unrealistic. Actually we're mostly a country of moderates with one bent or another, and most often a mixture. Sorry if I offended anyone but I was just trying to make a point. When the hateful rhetoric gets too shrill on the right the left can match them any time.
