Bravo-- great speech....

Hits home on many fronts and I have been reading Vancouver Sun's 'drug-use expose' comparing that to California's Proposition 36 allowing drug rehab and FREEDOM- a very liberal program sponsored by the Soros Foundation.(just passed--http://vote2000.ss.ca.gov/VoterGuide/text/text_summary_36.htm
- which once I know more of it might be Vancouver's solution (for that matter- all of America) if you do drugs and don't want to be prosecuted -> GOTO California (LOL))

I realize that the number one issue is the economy and that is why the Democrats(US) can't believe they might lose this election (notice they gained seats in the houses)...but enough is enough. Common sense and social morals have been trampled by the almighty buck and freedoms of contrivancy
protected by lawyers who (for a fee) will split hairs (and votes) til there is no common sense where dumbing down the average prevails and social programs MUST be made for itself. The answer is education -- and I don't only mean
a seven-year old but frankly a forty year old.

I also saw that the a 'Sun' endorsed the Alliance:

"And during the last 3 1/2 years of governance, as well as in the campaign now nearing its end, the Liberals have lost it. We've had enough of strident arrogance and corrupt patronage. We're tired of leadership that's out of touch, of how smarmy short-term politics so often trumps sound long-term policy. For these and other reasons spelled out in Friday's lead editorial, we're no longer willing to lend the governing party our support."

It was equally interesting that the liberal-sided Seattle-Times endorsed Bush.....
