Maybe the answer is criminal background checks before someone can register to vote. These are mandatory now before you can purchase a handgun, maybe they should be mandatory to register to vote.

I think that anyone who registers to vote should have to show a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship.

I remember when Motor Voter was passed my husband was angry for a very long time, but I kind of ignored the whole thing. Now I understand why he was mad. We need to change things.

A woman at work told me that when she was standing in line to vote, another woman showed the poll worker her green card as ID.

I intend to do something about this, not sit around and complain. Next time, it's going to be different.
