Rande... Surely I must misunderstand you. You said,"I am concerned that we get a president, ANY president elected quickly. Because I believe that if we were to drag this election out past Christmas as many have suggested, that this cultural divide would broaden." Tell me you have not joined the ranks of so many other Americans who subscribe to instant gratification and the path of least resistance rather than "doing the right thing".Cultural divide broaden? Wonder if that was a fear of Abe Lincoln's when he considered the consequences of abolishing slavery? Sorry, I say take as long as it takes. PS If it doesn't kill you it will make you stronger and this ain't gonna kill us.
