I'm reminded of something that happened to me some years ago. This is true. I was watching TV one night and I flipped to WWF wrestling. Randy "Macho Man" Savage had thrown his opponent out of the ring, and had climbed up on top of one of the corner posts. He then launched his body down onto the other guy that was lying on the floor outside the ring. Now, my (ex) is not a stupid person. She is actually quite smart. She is also squeaky clean. She has never bounced a check, never shoplifted, never taken drugs, she has just never done anything like that. She walked into the TV room and saw this transpiring on TV, and, having never seen professional wrestling before, when Randy "Macho Man" Savage jumped down on the other dood, she said; "How can that be? Isn't that against the rules"? I kid you not. I had to hold my breath. It was a totally honest and sincere reaction to what she had seen on TV. Now, many people, especially people with criminal backgrounds, would look at her and form the conclusion that she was a total moron. A completely honest and ethical woman sees something that makes absolutely no sense to her, and the conclusion is drawn that she is an idiot. That's what the Gore team has concluded about Florida. It just ain't so.
