The military issue is another GOP tactic. Any votes that were thrown out were done so for valid technical reasons as observed by reps from both parties. They make it sound like Gore is commiting treason and MUST be a commie traitor trying to steal the election from our noble warriors in uniform. What a buncha hogwash. Fact is the GOP was just disappointed that the military hasn't yet put them over the top for sure. 930 vote lead may not be enough. Then again it might be. This could very well be over by Thanksgiving if Gore can't come up with 931 votes. And fast.
