What about Gov. Jeb Bush's recusing himself from the election commission? Actually, there is a problem with Jeb Bush "walking away" as he has done. He cannot totally recuse himself from the election process as he is the certifying authority for the actual electoral college electors. When Florida is decided, he will certify the actual electors who will represent the state. They will travel to Tallahassee on Dec 18th, and report in directly with HIS office before gathering to cast their votes for the electoral college. Jeb Bush has to certify this vote because as Governor of Florida, he represents the entire state. Regards, Ron

Richard, the law doesn't allow this recount if it were followed. There is no valid reason for the recount. Gore is once more ignoring the law. I am a republican and would never want to be a democrat under the circumstances I see them operating now. When supporters support lies, unethical conduct, stealing the votes of our military I hold them in contempt. The difference between Jeb Bush and Katherine Graham is that he simply set on the Election panel. She is an elected official to oversee elections and determine if they are lawfully and fairly carried out. She is beholden to the citizens of Florida to do her duty. She is following the law. You are supporting lawlessness.
