To be fair, the Bush camp only claims that partial recount is unconstitutional. The weird thing is they don't accept the proposal to recount the whole state. So, what gives? When will they stop bumbling from both sides of their mouths?

We're talking about politicians here, as you know.

I don't have a tremendous amount of regard for any politician, to be quite frank. I do believe that there are some good ones.

I think the main thing we (possibly) disagree on is that I honestly believe one can understand what is happening; it is not impossible. Hard, yes. Impossible, no.

Most people want to understand the truth. They have flaws, and their understanding is flawed, but they intend to understand the truth. A very few intend to prevent the truth from being known. It's the ones that intend to prevent it, and work to achieve that goal, that need to be escorted to the airlock, IMHO.

A sample manual recount in counties with large anomolies was done to determine if a full manual recount should be requested. The Democrats made the request.

What were those large anomolies?
