We were talking in the context of the "freedom" that the democrats support versus the "freedom" that the republicans support. I don't happen to like much of what republicans stand for so of course I don't want balance. That's a personal preference. I've been lucky to live in liberal places for some of my adult life and I LIKE them. It would be silly of me to support politics I don't like and don't want to live under, wouldn't it? Why that sounds almost un-American.

I am not sure you even understand what the House of Lords is, or how little power they have. As for wanting them, no. I made a joke with Steven Rogers which YOU, in your apparently infinite poor judgment, took seriously.

Far from being "close enough" you are miles away. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last, and luckily it doesn't matter at all.
