I am trying to remember that one, and I can't.

Bob Dole is always the first to laugh at himself. A good trait in my opinion.

I just like Dole. He has a certain grace and humility that seems to be in short supply in DC. I also think he would have made an excellent president. I never had a doubt.

Too bad he and Kemp didn't get along that well. The unity of the effort and their message in 96 was compromised a bit.
