Ben,

<< 1x EV-DV specifications in progress >>

Ya mean them UWCC guys are right ... we are looking at next summer for a standard? <g>

Seriously. Nice recap and summary. Your diligence is much appreciated by me, and hopefully, my fellow Qualcomm and investors ... and Nokia investors.

I just saw a VERY recent Qualcomm slide that showed "1xEV" Supporters.

Amongst infa providers Ericsson, ExiO, Hyundai, LGIC, Lucent, Nortel, and Samsung were listed.

Nokia (and Motorola) were conspicuously absent. I am under the impression they are backing the 1xEV-DV standards development in 3GPP2. Is that your impression?

Where they not involved in the recent standards effort for 1xEV-DO?

Thanks for putting together all of the information regarding the standards process. These Nokians do not believe in documenting or standardizing 3G CDMA products since they cannot even manufacture 2G CDMA products.
