Joe,

In your original post, #128839, you made the statement below:

"In the counties in question, Republicans have no say."

The link you provided does not support that conclusion. You might want to read the article again. In fact it says quite the opposite; that the Democrats are desperately trying to meet all the demands of the Republicans who, interestingly enough, seem to be trying to slow down the process. I wonder why?

washingtonpost.com.

And please do not make one of your links be the moonie paper, the WA Times.

Ok, I forgot your sense of "fairness". Fair is All Democrat die-breaking commission, all liberal press etc. Unfair is any dissenting opinion. It's beginning to look familiar.

The WA Times has direct ties to a religious cult. Why am I not surprised that you see it as a voice of objectivity.

Soon, with these "fair" standards, we will have elections like we did in communist Czechoslovakia: 100% of voters casting their ballots for the only candidate on the ballot.

I can not believe you would have the cajones to make an analogy to Czechoslovakia and its fight for freedom. This fiasco in FL where the balloting abilities of the original counters is very much in question has to less to do with freedom and democracy and more to do with partisan politics and bureaucracy. To try and make it analagous to Czechoslavakia and the Prague Spring is IMO an insult to all the people who died for their freedom back then.
