Can Nortel keep up the pace and continue to follow Ciena's lead? I thank you for keeping me posted on Ciena's new products. They are a great company with good products but I don't think Nortel is following anybody's lead because they are the leader. It is not just the MEMS switch that makes them the leader in intelligence in the optical core. It is Packet Core which allows for communication between the optical layer and switching layer by the use of signalling which makes them the price/performance leader. Excuse my hype. I am still a believer. <g>
