Zeev, Aside from your concerns about electors jumping ship, are you aware that the FL legislature could appoint a separate set of electors if they believe that the electors selected by the results of the election do not legally represent the votors? This means that if Gore gets to count enough votes and "wins" the electors, two sets of electors might show up in DC for the Pres vote and then the House would have to decide which electors to allow to vote. In essence, the House would be electing the next President. This is the worst case constitutional crisis scenario that I've heard mentioned today. Barry
